Announces Second Generation Management Team
Alpharetta, GA –
October 01, 2008: Danny Tompkins, the CEO of Admin America
recently announced the promotions of Trey Tompkins, Linda
McRorie and Georgia Andros to the company’s new management
team. Based in Alpharetta, Admin America is an independent
employee benefits Third Party Administrator (TPA) servicing
small businesses in the Metro Atlanta region, the state of
Georgia and the Southeast. The company was originally
incorporated by Danny Tompkins in March 1988. The company
changed its name to Admin America in 2000 and currently
employs 12 full-time and 1 part-time employee.
Danny Tompkins, who
served as Admin America’s President and CEO since the
company’s founding, retained the CEO title. Trey Tompkins
was promoted to President, Linda McRorie to Vice President
of Operations and Georgia
Andros to Vice President of Finance. In addition to their titles, each will be
responsible for specific operational areas of the company.
Trey Tompkins received
his law degree from the University of Georgia in 1994 and
his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University in
191991. Prior to joining the company, he practiced family law
with a small firm before specializing in employee benefits
law. He joined the company in 1997.
Linda McRorie was the
first employee hired by Danny Tompkins in 1992. Linda’s
background includes teaching and training as a Pension
Actuary. Prior to joining Admin America, she was a Senior
Manager for a large accounting firm in their pension
benefits department. Linda has played a crucial role in the
company's operations and steady growth over the years. As
Vice President of Operations, Linda is responsible for the
day to day management of all of Admin America's lines of
service.
Georgia Andros joined
Admin America in 1996 after working for a national dental
insurance provider. Most recently, Georgia has been
responsible for implementing benefits plans for new clients.
However, Georgia has also assisted Danny Tompkins with the
company's accounting among the other duties she performs. As
Vice President of Finance, Georgia is focusing her efforts
on all financial aspects of Admin America's business,
including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Budgeting,
Auditing and Financial Reporting.
Admin America works with small and large
businesses to implement and administer Health Reimbursement
Plans (HRAs) and Flexible Spending Arrangements (FSAs) as an
independent Third Party Administrator of Internal
Revenue Code Section 125 Flexible Spending Arrangements (FSAs)
since 1988.
Since 2002, Admin America has been on the
forefront of introducing, educating, implementing and
administering programs for businesses to lower their
insurance premiums through Section 105 Health Reimbursement
Arrangements (HRAs). The company’s service is strictly a
fee-based TPA and does not receive fees or commissions from
any products included within the plans it administers.
With the new management
team, Admin America’s goal is to expand and build a strong
presence across the Southeast. According to Danny Tompkins,
“Some of the benefits we’re administering today weren’t even
in existence 10 years ago. We have been successful over the
last 20 years because we’ve succeeded in being flexible and
picking up on new opportunities. We’ve gone from cafeteria
plans to the HRAs to COBRA plans to 5500 administration for
large companies. While we don’t know for sure what the
future opportunities will be, we do want to be ready to take
advantage of them when they come. The company’s new
management team will operate with a dual focus of providing
excellent service to our clients while investigating future
employee benefit trends that will enable our clients to
provide cost-effective benefit plans.”
